The BRO COUNTRY BAND isn’t a band at all. It’s a 1-man theatrical production. A musical. A COUNTRY musical. BRO COUNTRY BAND is an autobiographical 1-man show written and performed by Ricky Melton. An average fella who most people would not be interested in knowing about, if not for the 4 or 5 stories that this show consists of. At times, the stories are unbelievable, but ALWAYS funny and SOMETIMES inspiring. The show tells the story of Ricky, a young boy growing up in an abusive home in Texas Hill Country, navigating his way thru life. Falling in (and out) of love, flirting with success in the world of stand-up comedy & brushing elbows with Hollywood stars. Overcoming heartbreak, the witness of a murder & business deals gone bad, Ricky never gives up, stays persistent and goes on to find success as the lead singer of the BRO COUNTRY BAND!
