Tara Shakespeare has been doing Comedy since October of 2015. She has shared the staged with a few pillars in comedy like Godfrey, Tommy Davidson and Andrew Dice Clay. Shes been seen at The Comedy store, Hollywood Improv, and Flappers in LA. But she has a passion for Keeping Comics on stage. Shes produced several shows in the valley starting with Not So Black and White, The Breakout Show, The Blackout Show, Lassos and Laughs and the most recently added Sing and giggle. She uses all her gifts on stage and always keeps the audience engaged. She is heavily influenced by the comedy legend Bernie Mac, Wanda Sykes, Richard Pryor, Lucille Ball, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. Tara’s subject matter may range from Bad Girl to Church girl and toggle between Mother and Wife. She is highly respected by her peers and a joy to work with. In just a few years Tara has gone from searching for opportunities, to providing them for other comics.
